2.5 hours. Tour ends at Stone & Wood where you can enjoy a beverage / food at your own leisurely pace.

The tour begins in the Arts & Industrial Estate, Byron Bay. The exact location will be given to guests upon booking.

The Crafty Cruiser requires a minimum of 8 passengers to power the bike with a maximum of 14. There are only 10 seats that have pedals. 4 riders do not pedal. 4 can sit back and relax or switch it up throughout the tour to get the best of both worlds.

Pedalling passengers should ideally be at least 5’ / 153cm tall to be able to comfortably reach the pedals. 

The Crafty Cruiser operates tours rain or shine. We will only cancel a tour for extreme weather in which operating is impossible or unsafe, but some of our best tours have been in the rain. Ponchos can be provided.

In cases of cancellation, we will issue a refund or credit note for a future booking.

We have storage on the bike and can store most small items that you may want to take with you on our tour, or any purchases you make on the tour.

The bike is very safe, and your host/hostess will do everything possible to provide a safe environment. However, just like riding any bike, there is some risk of danger and possibly falling off – especially if you’re not careful or are behaving irresponsibly while on board.

You should have a reasonable expectation that you could possibly fall off and scrape your knee. We have you sign a liability waiver to accept responsibility just in case of an accident.

We adhere to strict Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols. If you arrive at the tour visibly intoxicated, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the tour.

Please keep in mind that the venues we visit are family friendly. So please:

Do not wear anything that could be considered offensive.

Please watch your language.

Drink and behave responsibly.

Inappropriate behaviour will result in early end to your tour, and up to a $250 penalty.

If a single passenger is out of line, they will be dropped off at the nearest stop and required to find their own transportation back to the starting point, and no refund will be provided. Examples include but are not limited to: Obscene or vulgar language that is deemed offensive by staff or patrons, intoxication levels deemed unsafe by staff, ANY aggressiveness towards staff or other patrons, littering or being a public nuisance.

Cancellation Policy – Any cancellations more than 3 days in advance will receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 3 days in advance, there will be no refund, however you can receive a credit for future tours. All cancellations with 24 hours or less are non-refundable.
